xlsread not reading data.

I have an excel sheet that consists of two columns: the first contains time data and the second binary information (1,00 or 0,00).

When I type:

xlsread('....xlsx','','','basic')

only the time data is imported. When I type:

xlsread('....xlsx')

nothing is read in.

I am running R2016a

Ask xlsread for three outputs:

[d,s,r] = xlsread('... .xlsx');

It should read everything, and you should see everything in the ‘r’ variable.
