The company firewall blocks hyperlinks included in the Live Editor to external websites (e.g. Wikipedia) because Live Editor uses the MatLab browser. These links work fine in both Chrome and Internet Explorer. Links from Live Editor to Intranet websites and documents work as well. Is it possible to get Live Editor to use the default browser for hyperlinks?

I understand that you want to open your hyperlinks from live editor in your default browser.
MATLAB by default does open the hyperlinks the default browser.
Make sure you're following the same steps to create a hyperlink:
  1. Under Insert on the navigation bar, click on 'Hyperlink'
  2. Enter details of the hyperlink
  3. The hyperlink should now be visible under the Live Editor, click on it and check the behaviour
