Error with GUIDE opening

when i opening new blank GUI using

guide

I am receiving following error

I am running matlab R14b on Ubuntu 14.04.1

How to fix it ?

You appear to be using the "fish" shell; that might be interfering.

The part that is shown as unknown is arguments to the Linux "cp" utility. I do not know at the moment why the "cp" command itself might have disappeared, unless somehow it was aliased to nothingness.

Thank you for your comment, As you said fish shell causing this error . to fix it i have changed shell using following code :

env SHELL=/bin/sh matlab
