How can I use the Kinect v2 sensor on a Linux System

Hello,

does anybody know, how I can use the Kinect v2 sensor on a Linux system with Matlab. The problem is, that I need the Matlab internal functions, like alignColorToDepth(depthImage,colorImage,depthDevice), where I need the Kinect object, created by the image acquisition toolbox.

Hi,

Could you get it to work on Matlab? On running imaqhwinfo, matlab does not detect kinect. I am using Ubuntu 16.04 with Matlab R2018. Thanks a lot in advance.
