removing the beeping sound from waiting bar

how can I remove the beeping sound from the wait bar. I have tried using beep off but it did not work

The command waitbar does not make any sound. So what ever you hear, it is comming from somewhere else.
When do you hear the sound? Which Matlab version and OS are you using?

whenever a step of the wait bar is completed so for example I have 3 steps so I hear it three times and I am using matlab 2015 with windows os

I suspect you are using your own waitbar
