Exactly. But reading the image files in the example is a problem as it only does from the toolbox directory
I have 20 images in a folder and i want to stitch in into a panorama

I tried using the MATLAB image stitching but it used the fullfolder(toolboxdir) which Iam not able to replicate for my set of images in the folder.Could somebody please help me with a code.
% Load images.
buildingDir = fullfile(toolboxdir('vision'), 'visiondata', 'DSCN'); buildingScene = imageSet(buildingDir);
% Display images to be stitched
montage(buildingScene.ImageLocation)
The code above seems to be creating the problem

montage() does not create panoramas unless the images are perfectly placed with no overlap between them. What you need is this demo: http://www.mathworks.com/help/vision/examples/feature-based-panoramic-image-stitching.html?prodcode=VP&language=en

Hi, I've been having the same sort of problem with this code as well when it comes to stitching a lot of images together. For this problem, I've imported my own image file with about 10 pictures. I have not changed the code aside for "buildingDir = fullfile('filename') and I've been getting an issue with my code telling me "The specified transformation matrix is not valid because it is singular to working precision". This happens in step 2 of the code when it is attempting to to get the tform matrix.
Is there some way I can fix this issue or at least get an idea of how to solve this problem?

I have not used the mathworks stitching code myself. You can call tech support for help with their demos.
