how do I add plot edit capability to my guide gui

I just want to the gui to have the ability to annotate (text arrows etc).

I don't see this capability, i.e. no button has it, in the gui figure Toolbar (my GUI toolbar property value is set to "figure"). I could add the whole figure Menubar (i.e "figure" tomy GUI figure's Menubar property) but when I do that it appends onto my existing menubar (which already has a File entity so I end up with two of them). Is there a way just to get the standard menu Insert item and add that to my existing Guide menu (that I made)
