analysis signal energy trend

hi everybody I do a project in MATLAB to analysis the EMG signal energy trend over the time. The EMG signal denoised successfully, also energy of signal computed by envelop method and my goal is extract pattern to classify two groups of people based on their EMG energy trend pattern is there any function to find to trend analysis? any comments appreciated.
