Autocode optimization

What settings I can make in RTW or Targetlink to reduce the size of autocode. Currently I am evaluating the size of autocode Vs handcode for one of the functionality. My autocode is taking almost 1.3kB more ROM compared to handcode. I want to reduce ROM size of my autocode than handcode or atleast i want my autocode size equal to handcode size.

How can I generate code using RTW / Targetlink to suffice the above situation?
