synchronous generator in simulink

I am trying to understand on how to use the synchronous generator models in simulink. I tried with a simple example of only one synchronous generator fundamental type with the preset model of 50Hz 16kVA 400V and connect it with a 400V load. However, the voltage and current output waveform of the generator was totally distorted. May I know what are the reasons to this problem ? How should I define the parameters to use it to replace the 3 phase voltage source of 400V ?
