how define input variables for embedded matlab function block?

I use embedded matlab function block for my simulation. but I don't know how define inputs. some of inputs are constant, but some of them change in each period that emf block run.then I can't define them in emf . for example Q=zeros(states,actions) is a matrix that change every period, what should I do ?? thaks a lot.
