GUI for External Software

Hi Everyone,

I am doing a project in which i want to make a GUI in MATLAB which will control a CMOS camera Software, means the instructions from MATLAB GUI will operate the software which in turn operates the camera like opening the software and taking image. Or is this possible that the video will be shown in the MATLAB GUI. the camera is connected to Frame Grabber which is PCI interfaced to the computer which in turn connected via Ethernet to the camera. Please guide me how i can do this.
