Hi,
I am working on script where I have to edit a report file which is in MS word format.
I am able to open the file using 'winopen' function in appropriate application(MS word), but I did not get the help anywhere how can I edit it through script. Please note that I want to automate this editing so I need it to edit the word file through script so editing the file manually after opening it using 'winopen' is of no use.
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance !
Sameer

A report file written in MS Word? This is a suboptimal choice. (Feel free to translate "suboptimal" to a term, which does not match the usual tone in this forum.)
Have you checked this already?

But it is your turn to give the creators of this reports a feedback, such that they will choose a more convenient format for future projects. They have made the decision and you have the troubles - not a fair deal.
