how to open another form when clicking to push button

Just put in a call to the m-file that runs the other form ("figure" in MATLAB lingo). Like in the callback for the button:

[out1 out2] = MyOtherGUI(in1, in2, in3);

where in1, out1, etc. are argument variables.
