Unable to run Matlab / PLP problem
이전 댓글 표시
Hi, I have the 32 bits Windows version of Matlab. The problem is that when I try to open it, it asks me to "Please enter your Personal License Password (PLP): (You may obtain this from the MathWorks web site or your system administrator."
I have tried to get one from the MathWorks web site (and to install Matlab from there), but then I get an error message telling me: "Error finding installer class. An exception occured while looking for class".
Can anyone please help me to run Matlab? Many thanks in advance, Best.

PLP were a license scheme for MS Windows machines up to R2007b.
R2007b was supported only on Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista. If you are trying to install on a later operating system you would expect problems. (If you are still using Windows 2000 or Windows XP I hope you have a really good firewall...)

The person who gave you a DVD of pointed you to in internal download is supposed to give you also the information and files for installation and licensing. As Walter said, if it is an old release on Windows, you would need a PLP. Today this is called differntly.
Before you may want to call into installation support, check the system requirements. Of course, it would be best anyway, if you use a recent release. You can write to me directly if you need help.
