yahoo Data Feed help

I am using Matlab 7.1, on a mac book pro running vmware. When I run the following code this is the error I get, please help.
conn = yahoo('http://download.finance.yahoo.com'); fetch(conn,'IBM','08/01/99','08/25/99') ??? Error using ==> yahoo.fetch Unable to return historical data for given security.
