Q Format in TMS320F28335

Is OQ format used in floating point processors, for example TMS320F28335? Thank you.

If you are referring to the Q fixed point number format, then it could be used with that processor, but that processor has built in IEEE 754 single precision floating point numbers that would generally be used instead. In glancing around I do not see any indication that that processor has built in support for Q type fixed point numbers, but as I did not locate the instruction set in the time I spent, I might have missed it.

Is this perhaps a question about how Mathwork's Fixed Point Toolkit would be implemented when using the Real Time Target Support ?
