Compatibility of Matlab Compiler

Hi et all,

I made an attempt to open a ".exe" file hat was originated with the Matlabo Compiler tool.

I do have Matlab Compiler installed in my laptop, which is R2023a (business account).

I wonder if I need to get an updated of the Matlab Runtime Compiler or I need to get the overall update to Matlab R2024b.

Since the process is quite long through the IT department of my company, I'd like to know which is the right request to made.

You need the MATLAB r2024b version of MCR https://www.mathworks.com/products/compiler/matlab-runtime.html

It is implied that I would need the Matlab R2024b version in order to install the adequate version of MCR, isn't it?

No, you would only need MCR 24.2, which is available at the above link. You do not need MATLAB itself to run programs compiled with MATLAB Compiler.
