To download visual studio community to mex setup with matlab R2021a

Dear Collegure,

I want to mex setup in Maltab R2021a so that Visual Studio is selected as the compiler for C/C++.

I was told that Maltab R2021a only support Visual Studio 2019 and old versions. But I found I can not download Visual Studio 2019 community.

Another option is to install Visual Studio 2022 community but with individual components of VS 2019. But I don't know which individual components should be selected.

Would you please give me some suggestions? Thanks!

I suspect all you need is

MSVC v142 - VS 2019 C++ x64/x86 build tools (v14.29-16.11)

You are correct. Finally I only install MSVC v140 - VS 2015 C++ build tools (v14.00)
