Problem with .Range(cel​l_range).I​nterior.Co​lor Property

Hi,

I would like to use the following expresision to format one or several cells in an excel:

esh.Range(cell_range).Interior.Color = rgb_val

Where rgb_val is a double indicating the color. Can you point out why I am getting the following error

Scalar index required for this type of multi-level indexing.

when cell_range takes values like 'A1' or 'A1:B10'?
