I have a linear actuator that I designed for my project.
Basically two parts connected with prismatic joint.
How can I give input to that system with a DC motor ? The system I tried giving me the error below![](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/1748599/image.png)

Hello Fatih,
I think you can use the Translational Multibody Interface block available in Simscape to connect the output of a DC motor to a prismatic joint in MATLAB Simulink.
This block facilitates the connection between Simscape mechanical networks and Simscape Multibody joints, such as a prismatic joint.
refer to this similar MATLAB Answer post and MathWorks documentation links which can be helpful
Hope this information helps you in moving forward
