array operations in app designer

I have this simple operation

Both arrays are 1x6, but still got error

Arrays have incompatible sizes for this operation.

app.delta1 = sum(abs(app.uhly_array - app.theta1));

Need to specify the .Value property? If not, just pause the code and check its value, app.uhly_array and app.theta1

app.delta1.Value = sum(abs(app.uhly_array.Value - app.theta1.Value))
