Simulink C2000 F28388D FSI Fast Serial Interface Support Peripheral on R2021b

Hi,

Are there any plans to include a FSI (Fast Serial Interface) block for the F2838x C28x library? I would like to utilise the FSI peripheral in TI F28388D, but it does not seem to be supported in R2021b release updates.

Hi @SLC,

Currently, FSI peripheral is not supported in C2000 Microcontroller Blockset. You can still use the custom-code workflow to manualy include FSI code within the Simulink model by modelling it as a Device Driver block. The following resource details the steps to write device driver code and validates it with the creation of "Digital Read" block for ARM Cortex processors:

The support for FSI via the Blockset will be looked into in a future release.
