Matlab compatibility with NI PCI 6229 DAQ card

Hello,
I have a NI PCI 6229 DAQ card. I am trying to access it with Matlab 2007b but can't. I had to download new driver software for the card because I recently changed my OS from XP to Windows 7. I am wondering if Matlab 2007b is compatible with the new drivers for my NI PCI 6229 card. Note that the Matlab script, card (with old software), and Windows XP worked together before.
