Hello everyone,
Here's my problem: I'm trying to simulate the heating up of a full tyre over time and one of the sources of generation is the hysteresis phenomenon which occurs wherever there is rubber. In simscape, I've modelled different tyre layers, each with two resistors and a thermal mass that stores some of the energy generated. To simulate the generation of heat by hysteresis, I wanted to input a flow of heat which is then redistributed between (or in) the different layers of the tyre. The problem is that I have the impression that the flow circulating on my "main path" linking the various resistors is also propagating via the connections I use to integrate the heat into my system.
My question is : how can I get my heat into my various layers without its "supply channels" being used by the heat in my system to circulate? In other words, I simply want to distribute a source of heat between my different layers while keeping my straight axis between my resistors as the only axis of heat circulation. Is there a block such as a diode that only lets my heat flow in one direction, for example, and prevents the rest of the system from circulating other than via the main axis?
I hope I've explained this clearly enough and thank you in advance for your advice and help,
Thibault

I wonder whether this unidirectional heat transfer actually happen physically? Shouldn't the heat dissipate to area of lower temperature naturally? If what you mean is that it's HARD to heat to get out of the rubber, more realistic values for those thermal resistance could make it such that only a very small fraction of heat gets out to "system". Some clarification could help me make better suggestions.
