how to find uniformity of an image

I have an image I (colored image).
I have standard deviation and entropy of the image say 7 and 5
How to get the uniformity of that image? can any body help with the formula.

What's wrong with using the standard deviation? If it's zero, it's uniform.
sd = std(imageArray(:));
