How to remove object from binary image based on area and perimeter

Hi everyone i am trying to make a object follower comparing with a reference image. The problem i am getting is after the final image is converted into binary, i am still getting another object detected in the binary which is troubling me in tracking the object. I used many commands to remove it, but unsuccessful. I was able to remove noise from the image but not this one. My plan is to get the similar object in binary image as in reference image. I am attaching the final image from which i want to remove the top left corner object.I am using matlab 2014a. Plzzz help Thanks in advance
