Trouble installing MATLAB R2023a on WIn 11

I was trying to install MATLAB R2023a on a new windows 11 PC. I downloaded and ran the excutable, login to my account, chose the license and chose a directory for install. After I clicked next, the program would freeze and then crash.

Does anyone know where to look for a crash log or files for the installer?

Hi,

I understand that you are facing issue while installing MATLAB R2023a on Windows 11. The installation logs can be found in the following folder with the name "mathworks_%username%.log":

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp

Alternatively, you can follow the below steps:-

1. Press “Windows” key + R
2. Copy and paste the following into the Run window: %temp%\mathworks_%username%.log
3. Press enter on keyboard.
