"Could not execute target data map file" error for serial communication TMS320F28335 Error

While establishing serial communication from a TMS320F28335, it shows this error.

Could not execute target data map file 'halllogivwithrev_ert_rtw\halllogivwithrev_targ_data_map' or it does not exist. Stop the target, delete the halllogivwithrev executable, rebuild the code, and try again. Note that execution of external mode requires the build directory to be present

Any help to solve this ?

Hi Sreehari,

I was getting a similiar error when performing external mode simulation using XCP communication. A possible reason for this error could be the modification of the default External mode transport layer with incorrect values. If this is the case, kindly refer to the following MATLAB Answers post for more details and resolution steps:
