install of MATLAB2023A

I just tried to install the newest version off MATLAB. I got kicked off by windows defender because it says you have a trojan horse in your program.

The official installer contains no malware or viruses.

I suggest reporting this to customer support. You can also try submitting the file to your AV service as a potential false positive.

I am getting so many notifikations. Yes - i ran Tron.bat and it worked.

That guy who wrote that i should deactivate my antivirus should rethink his approach.

I did not deactivate it. I might be stupid, but not on that level.

And now, please let me out from this cycle of notifikation 😅

If you're sure you downloaded the installer from the genuine mathworks.com site, then turn off Defender, if you can. Otherwise see the FAQ: https://matlab.fandom.com/wiki/FAQ#During_installation,_the_installer_crashes,_hangs,_gives_an_error_message,_does_not_authenticate_your_license,_or_otherwise_does_finish_installing_correctly.
