Interfacing my TMS320C6713 kit to Matlab2015a

So somewhere i saw on Youtube a guy interfacing Matlab & DSP kit (TMS320C6713) and in his simulink libraries he is having a block of the kit however in my case i donot have the block. The block name is C6713DSK in Simulink library browser and i guess the person is using a version earlier than Matlab2013.

For my project i'm required to interface them and use them for an application but since there's no block availible how will i do ?

• I have also installed hardware support package for Texas Instruments c6000 DSPs(After it's installation i have some blocks like 6713's ADC,DAC LEDs,Switch etc but not the processor block)

** I have seen on the internet that TMS320C6713 can only be interfaced with MATLAB2007. If this is the only way let me know ?
