Hello,
I would like to use gscatter
gscatter(ax, x, y, g ,clr ,sym, siz, isfilled)
I want to change x, y, g, and the size, but leave the color and symbols untouched (default) without having to specify anything:
(allpHs, allkds, alltemps, defaultcolor, defaultsymbol, size=40)
but when I try to do this:
gscatter(alldataoxides.pHs, alldataoxides.kds, alldataoxides.Temperature, 'size', 40)
I get an error saying that I must define the color and symbol, this is a hastle as I have a lot of data and dont want to define the color for each plot.
How do I keep the color and symbol default, but change the size of the markers?

You can use empty brackets to have those options use the default setting.
gscatter(alldataoxides.pHs, alldataoxides.kds, alldataoxides.Temperature, [],[],40);
Here's an example
load carsmall
gscatter(Displacement,Horsepower,Model_Year,[],[],40)
Just to show that it is using the default color and symbols
figure
gscatter(Displacement,Horsepower,Model_Year)
