Reinstall Matlab - Unable to stop server

I am trying to reinstall matlab in a new location on my PC. I understand that i need to stop the License manager server in lmtools. When I try to stop the licence manager server I get an Error saying "Unable to Stop Server. Check the License search path and VD status.". I am using matlab 2020b

There are a few possibilites:

1. It's already stopped.
2. You tried making changes to before stopping it. You'll need to either kill the process from Task Manager/Activity Monitor/ps, depending on your computer's OS. If that's too difficult, restart your computer.

FIxed it myself, for anyone with similer issues my root problem was that there was an issue with my license
