Simulink Project Opening Speeds

Hi I'm intersted if there are suggestions in improving the speed of opening and dealing with Simulink Projects.

I'd like to use Simulink Projects more but i find that opening them and their general use seems really slow. Is there any guidance in the use of them or ways that I can stucture y project that would improve the speed?

As the team has many simulink models they would like to put within the project i wondered if the use of mutiple ones using projects refrences would help?
