256x256x6 exp decaying data
이전 댓글 표시
How do I create a 256x256x6 where each set of six is exponentially decaying data? I have to basically add noise to each set of six so that I can fit the points to an exp graph.

I feel like there is a lot of missing detail in the question, but here is one fulfillment of what it asks for:
out = exp(-sort( rand(256,256,6) ,3));

Expanding on that, I'll just plot a very few of the curves
markerSize = 20;
r = sort(rand(256, 256, 6), 3);
out = exp(-r);
% Plot a subset to see what they look like.
for row = 1 : 64 : 256
for col = 1 : 64 : 256
x = squeeze(r(row, col, :));
y = squeeze(out(row, col, :));
plot(x, y, '.-', 'MarkerSize', markerSize);
hold on;
end
end
grid on;

See attached exponential fitting demos that you can use once you have the 6 points.
