Input signal into simulink transform function

Hello,

I am trying to model this in simulink and am unsure how to generate the input signal:

How do I obtain the bode diagram and step response for the above problem? When I input a step response into the input I do not match the paper's step response. Should the K gains here be the value R? I do not know how to generate the -K- they have here and have my gains set with "R" for now.
