Why do I receive a ''fatal error C1189'' and a "NMAKE : fatal error U1077: return code '0x2' " ?

I need to compile a simulink model in R2014a version. But I encountered a error that puzzled me. The detail of the error as shown below:

C:\MATLAB\R2014a\simulink\include\winnt.h(135) : fatal error C1189: #error: "No target architecture"

NMAKE: fatal error U1077: ' "C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Visual 10.0\VC\Bin\amd64\c1.EXE" ' : return code '0x2'
