Using geotiffwrite for saving a image from a custom basemap(mbtiles)

Hi,

I have a mbtiles file from which i am getting a basemap. I want to store a region of this basemap into a .tif file using geotiffwrite. However i am getting an error as the basemap is in a projected coordinated system. I have set the 'CoordRefSysCode to EPSG:4326', but still getting the same error. Request assistance from mathworks.
