Control Intensity of grid() in contour plot?

Hello,

I have a gui with several contour plots that use the lbmap colormap ('BrownBlue'), and it looks great. However, the grid() function produces a grid that is quite faint relative to the contours, and would like to make the grid intensity user-adjustable.

Any suggestions?
