I have this exact problem too! I tried "Setup Hardware with MathWorks Raspbian Image" and while that worked and I could control the RPI with simulink I was unable to use CAN due to a bug in the Kernal version this image is built upon
To get around that I Installed the latest version of Raspbian on my RPI 4B. This allowed CAN to work using the terminal. I then tried the "Customize the existing Raspbian OS running on my Hardware" option where I get the same error as Ishaan. This stops be from being able to control the RPI with simulink, I tried manually installing the package but couldn't find it to install.

Hey,
The solution to this is not to use the latest Raspian OS (Bullseye) which is not supported yet but to use an older version (Buster) this then fixes the issue.
Mathworks are aware and are working on Bullseye support

There is yes! Whilst I haven’t tested it myself in the latest MATLAB version (2023a) they now have support for 32 bit bullseye as it says in the release notes Hardware support release
