Hi,
Is it possible to estimate the inductance coil of a 3D shaped coil? i.e, imagine a loop wire that runs along some of the edges of a cube doing several turns. I could not find any reference regarding this. I am trying to build different shape antennas for RFID low frequency devices (inductive coupling).
The only reference I have found is this:
In addition, I found this but the shapes are only planar (spiral, circular, square...)

Hi @MRR
Thanks for your reply. I'm not familiar with the geometry of this 3D Inductor. Perhaps there is a way you can improvise from this l = inductance(object,frequency). What would happen to the Inductance if you stack up the spiralInductor of the same shape?
Can you find out from your physical experiments or E&E textbooks?
I'm visualizing the possibility of this:
l1 = inductance(inductor1, frequency);
l2 = inductance(inductor2, frequency);
l3 = inductance(inductor3, frequency);
l4 = inductance(inductor4, frequency);
Total_L = function(l1, l2, l3, l4)
