How to create a Serial port communication mex file in C++ to use in MATLAB?

Dear all,
I am looking for using mex file written in VS C++ for serial port communication to make it fast in MATLAB.
I want to know how to write a relevant C++ code for serial port read/write and make a mex file and how can I access in MATLAB to read and write the data.
If anyone knows this let me know.
