INSTALLLATION KEY and LICENSE KEY

While installing MATLAB 2014a i was asked to provide INSTALLLATION KEY and LICENSE KEY which was provided by the administrator. so where do i find those two. The MATLAB 2014a i have downloaded didn't show any license key.

If you have purchased MATLAB on your own account refer to your account and go under manage my licenses.

I believe there is a radio button where you just give the email you used when you set up your purchase and it will use that to download the necessary license files. If not call them. The give free help for all installation issues with all versions.

Why do you need it? I never use one because I install just by giving it my email and password for my Mathworks account.

Contact your university's IT / computing department. They should be able to send you the information or tell you who in your department you need to contact.
