answer orange badge abadonned?

For active members, the little orange badge is no longer displayed and will be abandonned?

My "Editor" badge disappears when my level goes up to 8 yesterday.

I was doubtful, but then I looked and noticed that you lost editor and didn't get MVP.

Maybe the stacked badges were mucking up the page layout too much.

I find myself easier with orange tag, migh be a level badge with different colors is an alternative? Or isn't it too much of colors?

There have been changes in the badges recently. Also, ‘lower level’ badges disappear when higher ones are earned. You are the newest recipient of the Ace badge.

According to the info, you should be awarded the "MVP" orange status when you earn 5,000+ reputation points.

In the past, the TMW team checked the editor and MVP powers manually to avoid accidents. The editor power must be handled with extreme care to avoid explosions, so it is a trustworthy idea to let a human control the power lifting.

For staff people who crossed 5k reputation, the MVP badges in orange color are also not displayed. Is it also a similar bug or organization policy only for Mathwork employees ?

(Answers Dev) It would be a similar bug. Thanks @VBBV for bringing this to my attention. I have fixed this for all staff members above 3k reputation. (The MW Support team is a team profile and team profiles are not marked MVP or Editor.)

Are these colorful badges useful or are they used to increase the level of certain chemicals in brains to extend the screen time of the users?

It might matter, if a person has editor powers or not. The other details do not matter to me. The badges do not improve the quality of a specific answer. I thought repeatedly about creating a new account to get rid of the badges.

Orange labels like Editor, MVP, etc. are different than badges (like Ace, Knowledge Level 5, Roberson Cup, etc.).

Honestly I'm not sure why your orange editor label disappeared. It seems like you should have either kept it or moved up to MVP depending on your points. I'll ask them.
