questdlg window doesn't show up after compilation

questdlg modal question window doesn't show up in standalone application! However, helpdlg and inputdlg show up and work flawlessly. In the case of questdlg no window appears, thus the program execution is halted due to the lack of user input. I'm using Matlab_R2013a and compiler. Thanks in advance!

Do you get any error message at command prompt (if windows run exe from dos)
Can you repeat this with a very basic function (i.e. 1 line of code -> containing a questdlg command)
