How do I update log4j files in 2021b

First off I'm not a Matlab user just an Administrator for network, so any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

Just installed Matlab 2021b and my security team has mandated that I update the log4j (v. 2.17.0) to at least 2.17.1. I tried replacing the log-core-2.17.0.jar, log4j-api-2.17.0.jar, and log4j-1.2-api-2.17.0.jar files with the updated 2.17.1 versions of the same files. When I launch Matlab now I'm getting the same error shown at the following https://www.mathworks.com/support/search.html/answers/1629255-what-to-do-when-you-get-this-error.html?fq[]=asset_type_name:answer&fq[]=category:support/variables870&page=1 minus the font issue on the first two lines.

How do I update log4j without then seeing the errors?

Also is Matlab still usable even with those errors?
