You can use sim() to execute a Simulink model from MATLAB. It would be common to use set_param first to configure the settings of the model.

Hello,
It is my understanding that you want to include MATLAB code in Simulink.
There are a number of ways to do that.
One possible way is to use MATLAB function block. You can either define a new function or call the function already in the path to execute.
For detailed answer for all the possible ways, please refer to this link - https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/297092-how-do-i-incorporate-matlab-code-into-simulink
Please note that the documentation link can be updated for specific release by replacing "R2021a" with the required release name.
I hope it helps.
