Hello,
I want to model Fick's diffusion of nanoparticles in a 2D domain filled with water. Is it possible to do that in matlab?

If you show us the equations you are trying to solve, we might be able to answer your question.

Hi Venkatraman,
I understand that you are trying to model Fick's diffusion of nanoparticles in a 2D domain filled with water.
Typically, the Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) in MATLAB adhere to the following format,
c(x,t,u,du/dx).du/dt=(x^-m).d/dx[(x^-m)f(x,t,u,du/dx)]+s(x,t,u,du/dx)
For a better understanding of the above equation, you can refer to the following documentation.
Modify the given partial differential equation to make an analogy to the format specified above. To be more specific in resolving the issue, you can use the "pdepe"MATLAB function to further solve the issue by setting initial and boundary conditions.
Please refer to the following MATLAB answer, which provides a comprehensive approach to solving a similar 2D partial differential equation.
For a comprehensive understanding of the"pdepe"function in MATLAB, please refer to the following documentation.
I hope this helps.
