MATLAB program: Real-time audio plot graph

Is there any function or trick to MATLAB where I can add a real-time plot graph for an audio(wav) file to my simple gui?

This is for my school work where I need to make a sound editing program. The idea is the user chooses two files, then they can listen to it and choose sections of each to form a new sound.

So I need to find a way in MATLAB to display the sound and allow the user to choose their section from it.

Any help? I am a beginner to MATLAB as it is just a beginners course for one year.
