Veni - is haarwavelet.m a file that you have written, or is it a part of a toolbox, or have you obtained it from someone else (File Exchange)? Please provide more details including how you are calling this function.

Also, in the Command Window type

 which haarwavelet -all

to see where this file exists in your path.
